
Associate Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, in undergraduate and graduate levels. He received his Professional Degree in Architecture and Urban Design at UFSC (1997), a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at UFRGS (2001) and a Doctor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at UFSC (2007). He is a CNPq Research Fellow studying urban morphology and configuration, land use diversity and socio-spatial segregation. He was the Director of Graduate Studies in Architecture and Urbanism at UFSC from 2016 to 2018 and, in 2020, was a visiting researcher at Oxford Brookes University. Other research interests are epistemological and methodological aspects in the social sciences.
