Tools & Models

We combine theory, empirical analysis, spatial data, and computational modelling to investigate urban processes across scales. Our work draws on geographic information systems, space syntax, simulation, virtual reality, urban climate modelling, and quantitative and qualitative methods for the study of cities.

SegX — Model of Experienced Segregation: A model for analysing how segregation is experienced through daily movement, encounters, and exposure across urban space.
